tattoo removal

PhiRemoval

PhiRemoval is a sure and safe method of removing old permanent makeup or tattoos. Unlike surgical methods, which are painful and leave a lot of scarring,  PhiRemoval is the safest and a pain free method of removing unwanted color from your skin.

The reasons for removing old tattoos or permanent makeup are numerous. Some people do it for social reasons, while others simply want to follow new trends. PhiRemoval treatment is performed for the following reasons:

  • To remove old-fashioned permanent makeup
  • To remove poor-quality permanent makeup or tattooing
  • Pigment migration has occurred
  • Dissatisfaction with the current shape of the eyebrows
  • To remove colors containing Titanium Dioxide

TREATMENT

Upgraded formulas used in tattoo removal react immediately once the original color is removed from the tattoo and begins to move toward the surface of the skin.  The crust which forms in the tattooed region several days after treatment contains the ink.  As the skin heals, larger amounts of the unwanted ink leave the skin.  The crust starts to peel naturally, thus removing the unwanted tattoo.  After treatment and for the entire time the crust is present in the treated region it must be kept dry.  The removal of tattoos or badly applied permanent makeup cannot be achieved in a single treatment.  More than one procedure is required in order to remove everything causing the client to feel unhappy and the first results are visible immediately.  If the epidermis is treated only, there will be no marks or scars left as the cells in the basal layer of the epidermis are able to fully regenerate.

POST TREATMENT CARE

After care is extremely important.  During the first 48 hours, use PhiAsept Wipes to remove lymph and disinfect the wound. Repeat this procedure 3-5 times a day.  After 48 hours, use aftercare Ointment – apply 2-3 times a day to the treated region until the crust falls off.  Before applying the Ointment, gently wipe the skin with PhiWipes.

After PhiRemoval treatment, it is necessary to avoid the following:

  • Picking the scab, let it fall off naturally
  • Exercising and face or body massage – for 7 days after treatment
  • Cosmetics and skin care – for 10-14 days after treatment
  • Tanning beds, the sun, saunas, swimming pools – for 14 days after treatment
  • Facial or body treatments - for 3-6 days after treatment

Philaser

The PhiLaser multifunctional device uses a Q-switch laser to perform three types of treatments: Tattoo removal, Pigmentation treatment (freckles, melasma, age spots) and Carbon peeling. The treatment is intended for all the clients who wish to remove unwanted or faded tattoos and other imperfections on the surface of the skin.

PRE-TREATMENT CARE

Sun exposure is strictly forbidden in the 4 weeks prior to treatment. If laser treatment is performed on tanned or sunburnt skin, the laser may cause serious burns or discoloration. After laser treatment, it is necessary to protect the skin from the sun until it has fully healed. If the treated skin is exposed to the sun it may scar.

To ensure successful recovery and optimal results of the treatment, physicians recommend the following:

  • Stop smoking at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
  • Stop taking vitamin E, Aspirin and other medication that may postpone healing.
  • Stop using skin care products with retinoids or glycolic acid for 2-4 weeks.
  • Take medication for herpes prevention if the client is prone to outbreaks.
  • Avoid sun and tanning salons for 3-4 weeks before treatment.
  • Stop using self-tanning products as some of these contain activators which can react to the laser treatment and cause skin pigmentation.

TREATMENT

Laser tattoo removal requires treatment in a salon and the use of a Q-switch laser that breaks up tattoo pigment within the skin. The procedure depends on the immune and lymphatic system, which absorb pigment molecules and eliminate them from the body. In order to start the process, lasers aim for the pigment. Naturally, this type of laser must be extremely precise, therefore ultrashort pulse lasers are used. In order to reduce color intensity and skin damage, light pulses must be short and extremely fast – these lasers operate in nanoseconds. Pigment absorbs the energy at such speed leaving no time for chemical interaction. Actually, an acoustic impulse is formed within and breaks up the pigment. The speed of the heating process is crucial to the success of the treatment. The faster the laser heats particles, the greater the possibility of breaking up the pigment.

SKIN CARE BETWEEN TREATMENTS FOR TATTOO REMOVAL

For up to 48h after the treatment avoid the following:

  • Wearing tight clothes over the treated area.
  • Contact sports and other activities during which the treated area may be injured.
  • Applying creams, makeup, perfumes and body lotions to the treated area.
  • Hot baths and wetting the treated area.
  • Any form of heat therapy such as sauna, steam rooms and hot baths.
  • Swimming in swimming pools as chemicals in the water obstruct the healing process.
  • Shaving the treated area.
  • Rubbing or scratching the treated area.
  • Sunbathing and tanning salons, because these activities trigger melanin production in the skin, which may cause pigmentation.

Gently wash the treated area using soap and water, avoiding wetting the area excessively. If the area is sensitive or warm, it is recommended to apply ice packs or ice wrapped in a clean cloth. Do not apply ice directly to the skin. Nourish the treated area with Skin Candy After PhiLaser Treatment Gel in the morning and evening. Do not apply creams/lotions except the ones prescribed by your laser technician.

Carbon peeling

Carbon Peeling is a laser treatment that boosts skin radiance and leaves a smooth (toned) complexion. It helps remove imperfections on the surface layer of the facial skin.

While performing carbon laser peeling, a thin layer of carbon gel is applied to the skin’s surface. The laser produces a focused beam of light and directs it towards a specific area. Carbon particles actively absorb light, and a vacuum gently removes them, simultaneously removing dead cells from the skin’s surface. The thermal energy produced stimulates collagen synthesis and contributes to overall healthy-looking skin.

After treatment, use PhiWipes After Care to remove peeling residue from the face. If necessary, the Artist should apply the PhiLings After Treatment Mask to soothe the skin.

pigmentation therapy

Pigmentation Therapy treatment is based on a laser which produces high energy light wavelengths transformed into thermal energy. Laser light absorbs only the cells containing higher concentrations of melanin (natural skin pigment), the laser can be aimed at specific areas of the skin thereby ensuring that the surrounding tissue remains intact.

Treatments are performed for the following reasons:

  • freckles
  • melasma
  • age spots

Intervals between treatments must be 4-6 weeks

6 to 8 weeks between treatments is a sufficient period for complete recovery. If there are crusts on the treated area or recovery from the previous treatment is still ongoing, it is recommended to postpone the next treatment.

The interval between treatments may be shorter with adequate post-treatment care and in clients with normal skin. Skin Candy After PhiLaser Treatment Gel should be applied to the treated area in the morning and evening. If any issues arise, such as the onset of crusts, scars, infections, sunburnt skin or pigmentation issues, laser treatment should be postponed until these issues are resolved.
